Roky Tonight

I'm psyched for some Roky Erickson action tonight. Though I tend to resent my past self for buying tickets to a Sunday night show once that Sunday actually rolls around, I'm glad I'll be heading out for this one. Not only is it at one of the most intimate venues around, Maxwell's in Hoboken (I typically find the sound to be really good, too), ya never know when Roky might crawl back into his hole. So I figure it's worth seeing him when I can.

Plus we get to stop by one of my fave bars first, Louise and Jerry's. This place is great. Cool bartenders and the best jukebox of all time as far as I'm concerned. I can cue up everything from Sabbath and VH to the Pixies and The Minutemen on that thing. Too cool.
