Give It Up for WFMU
Here's my good deed of the year.
I dunno about you, but I've been a big radio nerd since I was a wee one, and since I've been livin' here in Jersey City, one of my favorite stations is one that's become a favorite of folks all over the globe: WFMU. FMU is a free-form, listener supported station based in J.C. The very best show on the station is none other than The Best Show on WFMU, featuring the comedic stylings of Tom Scharpling. Not only is it hilarious, the music is usually pretty great, too. I'm listenin' right now and almost crying from laughing.
Anyway, this is the kinda stuff that deserves and needs to be supported. If you know it and dig it, donate. If ya don't, give it a listen and consider coughin' up a few bucks.
