Rock 'Em, Sock 'Em, Deth Klok 'Em

Bleeding eyeballs, psychedelic underwater interludes, alcoholic grocery shopping, gloomy hilltop castles, exploding audiences, requisite viking themes, Deep Purple references....and metal, metal and more metal.

But that's not all. If the full-on metal mayhem ain't enough, Brendon Small's latest project (that's on TV, anyway), Metalocalypse, actually had a submarine featured in the second episode! Which reminds me, how come Maiden never did a submariner tune? They did an Ancient Mariner tune...oh well...

Back to Metalocalypse. Did I mention the metal and the bleeding eyeballs? This show (on Adult Swim) has gotta be one of the most fun music scene/genre parodies since Spinal Tap and Fear of a Black Hat (It's a kick-ass hip hop mockumentary. I don't feel like finding a link. Search for yourself dammit).

Granted, Metalocalypse is no mockumentary -- it's a cartoon. And as far as I'm concerned, that might make it even better. Plus, it's on every week: another bonus.

Also cool: I get to go to the official site to watch Brendon play the neck-breaking theme song: still a cutie. OK, I will link to that.
